Mountaineering, climbing, Nordic-walking, hiking and adventure trails in all ways: there are so many summer activities that the Livigno's Alpine Guides are ready to offer you, between enchanting views, ancient forests, flowering pastures, clear waters, sharp ridges and imposing glaciers, you will live fully our nature. Get excited with a new discovery every day!
Bicycle path
17 km long, Livigno's cycle path crosses the whole valley, running along the town centre on one side and the Spöl river on the other. With its two lanes, one for bicycles and one for pedestrians, it is suitable for everyone: you can take a beautiful walk surronded by nature or go for a leisurely bike ride. Along the way you'll find several rest areas with tables and benches and bike services for bicycle assistance.
Check&Go trails
Have you ever dreamt of walking in our wonderful valleys without worrying about crowded paths? The innovative Check&Go system allows you to show your presence at the start of the most popular trails by scanning a QRCode. In this way, everyone can check in real time the flow of visitors on each trail, and if one is too crowded, choose an alternative route, to enjoy nature without worries!
Trail Running
Free your mind, let your legs go, let your heart beat! Livigno, at 1,816 meters above sea level, is the ideal destination for runners, athletes and amateurs, who want to train at their best, far from the heat of the summer in the city. With breathtaking views, alpine ridges and border crossings, there are plenty of routes to choose from to suit all needs. Here are some of the routes, the choice is yours!
Hiking at 3000m
Livigno is known as the "Little Tibet": with more than 22 peaks over 3000 meters above sea level, it is the mountain you have always dreamed of! From Cima Cavalli, to Monte Vago, to Piz Paradisin, choose your peak and touch the sky! In July and August, every Saturday, you can partecipate in a spectacular hike between ridges, peaks and lakes, always in total safety, accompanied by the Livigno's Alpine Guides. The tracks are mainly on a marked path with some sections on stone and some short exposed passages. For further information: www.livigno.eu/en/hiking-at-3000m
Plogging
Directly from Sweden comes the plogging: the trekking that is good for the nature. A practice to feel good with yourself and that takes care of the territory; it consists in collecting all the waste you find while walking around the valley. Request the plogging kit consisting of backpack, gloves and pliers at Plaza Placheda. Participate at the final draw and win ski passes and many prizes!
